The major of biomedical engineering provides an important foundation of health care industry. The medical universities can combine their own medical advantages, perform the practical talent cultivation, meet the needs of clinic and medical instrument industry. This paper makes a preliminary study on the cultivation mode of the major of biomedical engineering from three aspects including cultivation objectives, teaching system and teaching methods.
